CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser (150ml)

The CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser is a dermatologist-developed treatment designed to clear active acne and prevent new breakouts from forming.1 Unlike many traditional acne washes that can be stripping, this formula uses a cream-to-foam texture that maintains the skin's moisture balance while delivering acne-fighting medication.2

Key Benefits and Results

This cleanser is specifically formulated for those with acne-prone skin who need a powerful treatment that remains gentle on the skin barrier.3

  • 4% Benzoyl Peroxide:4 This active ingredient works to clear acne blemishes, whiteheads, and blackheads by killing acne-causing bacteria and helping to unclog pores.5
  • Transforming Texture: It dispenses as a rich, soothing cream and lathers into a light foam, providing a deep clean without the harsh "squeaky clean" feeling.6
  • Barrier Support: Contains three essential ceramides (7$1, 3, 6-II$) to help restore and maintain the skin’s natural protective barrier, which can often be compromised by acne treatments.8
  • Soothing and Hydrating: Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid to help the skin retain its natural moisture and Niacinamide to calm redness and inflammation.9
  • MVE Technology: A patented system that ensures the steady release of hydrating ingredients for long-term comfort.10

Product Characteristics

The formula is designed for daily use and is suitable for both face and body acne.11 It is non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), fragrance-free, and paraben-free, making it a safer choice for those with sensitive, acne-prone skin.12

Directions for Use

Because Benzoyl Peroxide is a potent active ingredient, it is important to introduce it gradually into your routine.13

  1. Dampen: Wet your skin with lukewarm water.14
  2. Apply: Apply a dime-sized amount to your hands and work into a lather.15
  3. Massage: Gently massage into the affected areas in a circular motion, avoiding the eyes.16
  4. Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with water.17
  5. Frequency: Start with once daily to test for sensitivity.18 If well-tolerated, you can increase to twice daily (morning and night).
  6. Sun Care: Benzoyl Peroxide can increase sun sensitivity. Always follow up with a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher during the day.

Caution: Benzoyl Peroxide is known to bleach fabrics.19 Ensure you rinse your face and hands thoroughly, and consider using white towels to avoid discoloration.
