Arthocarpus lakosi extract (Mahaad) has a brightening and whitening effect. Oxyresveratrol - the active substance isolated from the bark and core of the monkey breadfruit - is a highly active component of products to combat excessive pigmentation, freckles, darkening of the skin, age spots, red spots from acne. Oxyresveratrol inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for the synthesis and accumulation of melanin in the skin. It is the excess of melanin that causes increased skin pigmentation. Artocarpus lakosha is an excellent antibiotic. It fights inflammation, rashes on the skin, prevents the appearance of blackheads, treats inflamed enlarged pores on the face, cleanses clogged pores, perfectly helps with acne, seborrhea.
